MCCORD AVENUE OUTREACH    07/24/2010

Were excited to go on outreach with Pastor next Saturday morning,  we will be door knocking all of McCord Avenue and the surrounding homes in the area.  Our passion is for souls to be saved filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus Name! Pastor is going to have the baptistry full and ready that day cause we're claiming souls in Jesus Name! Outreach day is July 31st 2010 Prayer meeting at 9:30 am Outreach starts at 10:00 am we will meet at the curch.

July 11th we are having Elder Biggs preach a revival for us, he is an awesome evangelist that has an awesome testimony.  He will be preaching that Sunday morning and Sunday night.

Neandra and Kayla's name were written today in the Book of Life! Pastor Lankford was scheduled to baptise one today, but instead baptised two in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ! Welcome our new converts!

REVIVAL WITH DON CLARK    05/27/2010

Wow! we had an awesome move of the Holy Ghost! Sister Diane's niece received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost tonight! Bro Clark preached and followed after the spirit! The Clark daughters sang and were awesome! Brother and Sister Clark are doing a daughter work in the city of Tulare and are doing a good work out there. Thank you Clark family!

BROTHER WAYNE FORSYTHE RECOVERS   05/15/2010

Brother Wayne had a heart attack last weekend and was rushed to Bakersfield Heart Hospital, Pastor Lankford and many from the church came in the ER and prayed for God to restore his heart. Brother Wayne is recovered now and will be going home in Jesus Name!

We woul like to welcome Brother Chuck back to Revival Tabernacle! Brother Chuck prayed back through to the Holy Ghost last Thursday night service. He said last week he awoke, walked in his living room and began to feel the presence of the Holy Ghost and just began to weep, and heard the voice of the Lord tell him "go back!" "go back!" "go back!" Since then Brother Chuck has attended faithfully and plans on living for God to his fullist! Amen! We love you Brother Chuck and are excited to have you apart of Revival Tabernacle!  Also we would like to welcome Derrick from Fresno who is seeking after the Holy Ghost, we will continue to pray for Derrick to be filled with the Holy Ghost. We love you Derrick and desire you to be filled with God's spirit!

SISTER LOIS VISITING HER FAMILY IN TEXAS   05/13/2010

We are going to miss our piano player Sister Lois for six weeks, keep her in your prayers that she has a safe trip. She means alot to the church and we are blessed to have her!

Church was great! Bishop Venable preached about the true mother "The Church" also Sister Lankford presented all the mothers with fresh baked gift wrapped cookies! and she was very shocked and touched that the church presented her with a Mothers Day gift at the end. Thank you Sister Lankford for all that you do for us!
